Full-Time Junior Software Engineer (.NET WPF)

As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining software solutions using the Microsoft Stack of Technologies.

Your daily tasks include:

• End-to-end software development using C#, .NET, WPF/XAML, Web APIs, LINQ, and Entity Framework.
• Writing and optimizing SQL queries for performance and scalability.
• Participating in building service-oriented or microservices-based applications, following best practices for object-oriented programming and design.
• Ensuring high-quality code, writing unit-tested code, and effective debugging across different environments.
• Contributing to a collaborative team emphasizing continuous improvement.
• Participating in Scrum or Kanban methodologies for efficient solution delivery.
• Potentially involved in test-driven or acceptance test-driven development to meet business requirements.
• Creating applications on Microsoft Azure, using tools such as FitNesse or Postman (as needed).

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science (B.E./B.Tech. or MCA, or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, UML, and software development practices.
• Proficient in C# and SQL.
• Ability to ensure performance management and troubleshooting C# or SQL-related performance issues.
• Good English communication skills.
• Experience with WPF, Agile teams, Scrum/Kanban, test-driven development, and/or cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure) is beneficial.
