Blur Studio is seeking experienced freelance Keyframe Animators for exciting new cinematic projects. Ideal candidates will work in a European time zone.
Responsibilities:
- Animate characters, creatures, or vehicles under the direction of the Director and Animation Supervisor.
- Create keyframes from scratch using storyboards, key poses, and video reference.
- Blend and edit motion capture performances.
- Participate in regular reviews and dailies.
- Meet project deadlines and accurately estimate task completion time.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional VFX or animation experience.
- Thorough knowledge of Maya.
- Ability to create and find animation reference material.
- Organized and clean workflow.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to take direction and find creative solutions.
- Availability to work in GMT zone workday hours.
- Suitable workstation with internet access for Maya and project data synchronization.
- Experience on high-end, realistic game cinematics and camera animation is a plus.
