Full-Time Kubernetes Engineer

We are seeking a Kubernetes Engineer with a focus on creating and managing Helm charts, and contributing to our software catalog. You will enable customers to efficiently deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes, while ensuring discoverability and reusability of software components.

Responsibilities:

• Helm Chart Development & Management: Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Helm charts. Parameterize Helm charts to support different environments. Manage Helm chart versions, dependencies, and repositories.
• Software Catalog Curation & Enhancement: Work with development and operations teams to onboard new software components. Define metadata, categorization, and discoverability attributes. Integrate Helm charts into the software catalog.
• Kubernetes Platform Engineering: Collaborate on the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Kubernetes infrastructure. Automate deployment tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with software development, DevOps, and SRE teams. Create documentation for Helm charts and Kubernetes operational procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Kubernetes Engineer or similar role.
• Expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining Helm charts.
• Understanding of Kubernetes architecture and concepts.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and scripting languages.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) certification.
• Experience with managing a software catalog or service mesh.
