Full-Time Kubernetes Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Kubernetes Cluster Administrator to manage and maintain large-scale on-premises Kubernetes clusters. This role is key to ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of the infrastructure that supports critical applications and services.

Main Responsibilities:

• Deploy, manage, and maintain on-premises Kubernetes clusters
• Monitor cluster performance and availability to ensure high stability and resilience
• Ensure cluster security through RBAC, network policies, and secure configurations
• Optimize resource usage through effective pod scheduling and service configuration
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cluster operation and performance
• Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as patching, upgrading, and scaling
• Automate routine tasks using scripts and appropriate tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless application integration

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus)

Experience:

• Proven experience managing large-scale Kubernetes clusters in production environments
• Solid background in Linux system administration
• Experience with containerization technologies, especially Docker

Know-how:

• Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture and components
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience with Kubernetes-related tools such as Helm, Istio, and Prometheus
• Solid knowledge of networking protocols and security best practices
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Knowledge of storage solutions and persistent volumes in Kubernetes is a plus

Languages:

• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Knowledge of other languages is an advantage
