Full-Time Lead Consultant, Air Quality Modeler

Preferred Locations: Denver, CO, Seattle, WA, Salt Lake City, UT, and Novato, CA. Remote candidates are also welcome.

About the Role: Are you passionate about environmental policy and creating sustainable change? This role as a Lead Consultant, Air Quality Modeler offers the chance to work on complex policy issues.

Responsibilities:

• Lead air quality dispersion modeling tasks using regulatory guideline models
• Independently generate model input data and review/analyze model output
• Review and quality-assure team member work
• Research and resolve issues related to state/federal modeling guidance
• Create modeling-related documents (protocols, reports, summaries)
• Develop and maintain scripts for model input/output generation

Qualifications:

• BS in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of air quality modeling experience
• Proven experience with complex regulatory permit modeling

Compensation: $89,667 - $112,083 annually (this is a base salary range, total compensation may vary)
