Full-Time Lead Data Scientist

We’re looking for a Lead Data Scientist with deep technical expertise and strong communication skills to lead end-to-end AI/ML projects for top-tier clients.
Responsibilities:

1. Lead development of advanced analytics and AI/ML models (e.g., classification, time series, GenAI, computer vision, associative rules and decisioning).
2. Design and oversee robust data pipelines using SQL, Spark, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
3. Architect and implement solutions involving LLMs, transformer-based models, and AI agents for generative tasks and automation.
4. Manage and mentor a team of data scientists; guide project execution and professional development.
5. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate problems into machine learning solutions, deliver insights, and drive model deployment.
6. Own model lifecycle: from data exploration to production deployment and monitoring (MLOps).
7. Engage with multimodal data: text, image, audio, or behavioral data from web and app interactions.
8. Ensure quality, reproducibility, and documentation of models and findings.

Qualifications:

• MS or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3 - 5+ years of experience in applied machine learning and advanced analytics.
• Effective communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in Python (and optionally R or Scala), including libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Hands-on experience with generative models (e.g., GPT, diffusion models) or multimodal AI. Experience using these models during development.
• Strong SQL and data engineering skills; Spark/Databricks experience is a plus.
• Experience deploying ML models to production (API, batch, or streaming environments).
• Comfortable leading projects and collaborating cross-functionally in a fast-paced, client-facing setting.
• Familiarity with A/B testing platforms (Optimizely, Adobe Target), cloud AI services, or explainable AI tools.

Salary: $110,000 - $160,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
