About Trace.Space: We're building a data platform for engineering companies designing critical systems (cars, planes, etc.). Traditional tools are insufficient with growing product complexity. We empower engineers with a modern platform.
About the Role: Lead the design and implementation of Kubernetes-based infrastructure (cloud & on-premise). Define deployment architecture for our real-time, multi-service platform (WebSockets, PostgreSQL, SQS-like queues, ElasticSearch, AI-powered microservices). Build a secure, scalable, observable system with best-in-class instrumentation (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry). Define CI/CD pipelines & deployment strategies (Terraform, Helm, GitHub Actions). Architect on-premise workflows (air-gapped environments). Own infrastructure security, secrets management, TLS, RBAC, and compliance-ready configuration management.
Requirements: Strong Kubernetes experience (Helm, Operators, Networking, Ingress, RBAC, CRDs, multi-tenant setups). Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), deployment tooling (Helm). Deep understanding of observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger). Experience designing CI/CD pipelines for complex backend systems. Experience building on-premise deployment options (including air-gapped environments). Proven experience with secure, scalable infrastructure for production systems with real-time, multi-service architectures. Ability to work independently and lead infra projects. Legal to reside/work in EU, UK, Ireland, Switzerland, or Norway. Must be comfortable with remote work.
Nice to Have: B2B SaaS experience, Hardware engineer solutions experience, Product-led/self-serve product experience, AI/ML workload deployment experience.
