Full-Time Lead DevOps/SRE Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, plan, and execute DevOps/SRE projects throughout the SDLC.
• Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Build, maintain, and collaborate on CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments for zero downtime deployments.
• Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
• Assess current systems and processes, and develop ways to improve them.
• Secure systems against cyber threats and develop disaster recovery plans.
• Manage the organization's hardware, software, and networking components.
• Clearly communicate technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
• Directly manage and mentor a Junior DevOps engineer.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has 8+ years of experience in DevOps and SRE roles.
• Possesses strong proficiency in GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD tools, and IaC.
• Is a monitoring and alerting expert with strong incident response skills.
• Has experience with time series metrics tools like Graphite and data visualization tools like Tableau, Grafana, or Kibana.
• Has experience with log aggregation and exploration using the ELK stack.
• Understands email deliverability with PowerMTA.
• Can code in a language like PHP, Node.js, or Python.
• Can provide references and consent to a background check.

Bonus Points for:

• Experience with RDBMS like MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Cloud budget projection and cost reporting skills.
• Cloud platform or DevOps certifications.
