Full-Time Lead Network Engineer

• Manage a team of engineers, including hiring and supporting career development.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient network architectures for online features.
• Ensure low-latency, high-performance online experiences for players.
• Lead your team to develop and optimize multiplayer systems, including matchmaking.
• Work closely with game designers and programmers to integrate network features seamlessly.
• Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable server deployment and maintenance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in network programming and online gaming technologies.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance the studio's network capabilities.

• At least 7 years of professional experience as a programmer within the games industry.
• At least 1 year of leadership/managerial experience.
• Proven track record of leadership in a senior network engineering role.
• Proficient in C++ programming and deep knowledge of Unreal Engine.
• Deep understanding of software architecture principles.
• Ability to think creatively and strategically to overcome technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• A deep passion for gaming.
