Reporting to the Senior Contact Center Architect, the Senior Imaging Automation Engineer will help support and automate document handling processes from multiple sources (online uploads, mail, fax) for Experian's MCE (My Customer Experience) division. You understand imaging technologies, OCR tuning, automation with AI/ML, cloud services, and AWS tools. We are looking for someone who operates quickly, drives for results, and has a high standard for quality.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and design imaging automation solutions using C#, Python, PowerShell, and JavaScript on both legacy and future platforms.
- Implement and improve OCR technologies, focusing on tuning for accuracy and efficiency.
- Harness the capabilities of AWS Textract, along with other AWS tools, to grow our imaging solutions.
- Integrate AI/ML models into the imaging process to enhance automation and achieve goals.
- Collaborate to understand workflow needs and integrate automation solutions that refine document handling processes.
- Stay updated with the latest imaging, automation, and AI/ML technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to implemented solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Tune automation functions within the legacy platform (iLinx) to increase accuracy and customer experience.
- Analyze statistics to recommend the best candidates for continued tuning.
- Review, validate, update, and add rules and training through tuning to achieve highest automation and lowest error rate possible.
- Collaborate with technology teams, product management, and partners to identify and improve automation functions.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of proven experience with imaging/optical character recognition (OCR) technologies and automation.
- Proficiency in C#, Python, and PowerShell; JavaScript.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS Textract and familiarity with a range of AWS tools.
- Hands-on experience with OCR technology, including tuning and optimization.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their applications in automation.
