Lead Tariff Compliance Analyst (Remote)
Under the direction of the Manager, accountable for ISO Tariff and FERC regulatory compliance processes.
Designs, develops, and implements programs and processes for tariff compliance. Responsible for developing and administering the internal compliance program, specifically related to the ISO Tariff.
Responsible for activities related to compliance, including internal controls, training, documentation, verification, monitoring, and reporting.
- Conducting compliance assessments and investigations (with Legal) for all regulatory compliance areas.
- Performing quarterly follow-up on corrective actions and communicating investigation results.
- Ensuring maintenance of tariff compliance ownership, risk, and requirements data.
- Identifying, developing, and implementing process improvements to mature ISO tariff compliance.
- Providing input on root-cause analysis, internal controls, and corrective actions.
- Performing root cause analysis of near miss/potential compliance violations.
- Identifying trends to develop common causes, raise awareness, and provide training.
- Communicating findings and recommendations to all levels of the organization.
- Identifying opportunities to proactively control and mitigate root causes.
Responsible for risk assessments and monitoring controls.
- Capturing and analyzing information to identify risks and corresponding controls.
- Documenting risk assessments and communicating findings to management.
- Testing and evaluating controls to verify efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identifying monitoring/testing issues, proposing corrective actions, and working with issue owners to track progress/validation.
Builds and maintains relationships with business partners and facilitates meetings.
Tracks activities and follow-up items, ensuring completion.
Participates in the Compliance Communication Plan, identifies opportunities to raise compliance awareness.
Delivers training on compliance policies/procedures, develops educational materials, and creates engaging events.
Provides guidance and sets daily work priorities for staff.
Identifies staffing needs and mentors/coaches/trains staff.
Provides feedback on staff performance in support of performance evaluations.
May participate in department hiring activities (interviewing and evaluating candidates).
May function as Department Manager in Manager's absence.
Level of Education and Discipline: Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent education, training, or experience in Business, Legal, Communication, Information Management, or related field.
Amount of Experience: Equivalent years of education/training, plus 6+ years related experience.
Type of Experience: Leading investigations, performing root cause analysis, documenting findings, and providing written reports; experience with regulatory law and ability to understand requirements. Experience leading training, managing events, and facilitating meetings. Experience interacting with regulators and senior management.

Pay Range: $136,500 - $227,500 annually. Information is confidential.
