Shipium is looking for a Lead Technical Product Owner to be the driving force behind our product delivery. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role. You will blend classic product ownership with hands-on, technical leadership, serving as the central hub for all things related to our product roadmap.
What you'll do
- Own the roadmap: Integrate and manage technical roadmaps.
- Lead technical execution: Organize and manage multiple simultaneous workstreams.
- Drive efficiency with AI: Use generative AI tools to create detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Be the central point of contact: Serve as the go-to person for development teams and stakeholders.
- Define and prioritize: Evaluate and prioritize incoming work requests.
- Create documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years in a technical program management or product ownership role.
- Technical Acumen: A solid understanding of system-level technology, APIs, and cloud integration (preferably AWS).
- Risk Management: Exceptional ability to identify and manage risks and roadblocks.
- Adaptability: Proven ability to manage onshore, nearshore, and offshore development workflows.
- Modern Skills: Advanced proficiency in creating user stories and acceptance criteria, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience using generative AI tools.
- Problem-Solving: Keen judgment and practical problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Shipping Expertise: Familiarity with the logistics industry.
- Supply Chain Knowledge: Insight into last-mile delivery, international distribution.
- Logistics Technology: Experience with compliance, operational processes, and best practices for shipping a wide range of package types.
