Linux Systems Engineer/Developer
- Design, configure, and maintain Linux servers and operating environments.
- Develop automation scripts and tools using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, OS, and application-level issues.
- Implement security best practices, including patching, access controls, and vulnerability remediation.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to optimize system integration and deployment workflows.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and recovery plans.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices using tools.
- Stay current with emerging Linux technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) and shell scripting.
- Experience with system-level programming, performance tuning, and kernel modules is a plus.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services and DevOps practices.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience.

- Permanent Residents or U.S. Citizenship (Required)
- This role requires you to live within the United States.
- Clearance Requirement: This position may require Public Trust clearance.
