Localization Project Manager for our Marketing team in Brazil.
Wellhub is seeking a L10N PM to support the localization and adaptation of marketing assets for our 10+ locales. The successful candidate will play an active role in our Localization Center of Excellence for our Marketing teams, which will secure a successful setup for global communications to consistently produce locally relevant assets that truly resonate with the different target audiences, by generating effective translations & cross-cultural adaptations thus driving revenue through improved user experience. This position reports directly to our Localization Manager and involves strong collaboration and effective communication with the Localization team, external vendors, and key stakeholders across Wellhub.
Your Impact:
- Manage localization and adaptation requests from stakeholders, following processes to ensure projects are delivered on time and with high quality.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (including production) to understand briefs, deliverables, and timelines for smooth adaptation and successful delivery.
- Demonstrate understanding of target audiences, brand and style guides, and language tools to achieve a consistent tone of voice.
- Develop relationships with Localization Leads, translation vendors, linguists, and local stakeholders to deliver high-quality translations.
- Support the pt-BR Localization Lead in review, QA, and evaluation of translations, ensuring relevance to the local market.
- Occasionally perform brief translations.
- Provide feedback to local talent, participate in root-cause analysis, and escalate quality issues.
- Support Localization Leads on Terminology and TM clean-up activities to maintain glossaries and translation memories.
- Help build and maintain a library of approved assets and localization best practices.
Who You Are:
- Currently residing in Brazil.
- Proficient in English.
- Fully immersed in the Brazil market (linguistically and culturally).
- Previous experience as a localization project manager.
- Ideally, experience in translating marketing content, including app localization and transcreation.
- Knowledge of localization workflows, CAT tools, linguistic QA, and language asset maintenance.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and quality-focused.
- Ability to perform in a dynamic environment with ongoing changes.
- Solution-driven, proactive, and quality-oriented.
