Full-Time Magento Architect

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and deliver enterprise-level eCommerce solutions on Adobe Magento Commerce.
• Perform technical analysis of client requirements and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales Support to build proposals and statements of work (SOWs).
• Mentor and guide Magento team members for growth.
• Drive internal initiatives in Magento Practice related to reusability, upskilling, and collaboration.
• Review business requirements with other team members.
• Collaborate with QA and Customer Support on bug triage and resolution.
• Contribute to improving application usability.
• Train subordinate development team.
• Create test plans and perform quality analysis.
• Research new integration and plugin capabilities.
• Lead multiple concurrent eCommerce development teams.
• Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions with clients.
• Work with DevOps to manage environments and releases.
• Estimate project timelines, costs, and resource needs.
• Create system requirement specifications (SRS) documents.
• Lead teams of onshore and offshore Magento resources.
• Ensure solutions are delivered timely and on budget.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading development teams.
• Strong understanding of Magento system architecture, design, theming, functionality enhancements, and configuration.
• Prior experience in building enterprise-level Magento applications.
• Experience creating/customizing Magento modules (payment, shipping, etc.).
• Experience working on proposals and SOWs.
• Success in leading hybrid on- and off-shore teams.
• Strong PHP and Magento skills with emphasis on Object-Oriented Programming.
• Knowledge of mobile and responsive web development.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Follow a user-centered design process and experience with UI/UX integration.
• Good understanding of Zend framework (preferred).
• Magento 2 certifications (preferred).
• Advanced English proficiency.
