NBCUniversal is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead the Brand Engineering team. You’ll lead a team of talented engineers and contractors, partner closely with stakeholders, and drive execution of initiatives that support digital platforms.

- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers.
- Partner with stakeholders to align capabilities with business needs.
- Own backlog prioritization and delivery of work.
- Oversee AWS infrastructure design and operations using automation.
- Guide modernization efforts including migration to containerized platforms.
- Champion privacy and security by design.
- Ensure proactive monitoring using CloudWatch, Datadog.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives.
- Promote high standards of engineering quality.
- Oversee adoption of DevOps pipelines using GitHub Actions, Puppet.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and technology teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience managing engineering teams in a cloud environment.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management.
- Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and migration from EC2.
- Familiarity with Drupal frameworks and CDN management.
- Experience with observability and security tooling.
- Ability to engage stakeholders and drive initiatives.
- Experience with agile delivery and capacity planning.
- Familiarity with security remediation workflows.
- Communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
