Full-Time Manager - Development

• Identify, initiate, and pursue new development opportunities.
• Lead Indigenous partnerships and support on-going relationship building activities.
• Collaborate with development colleagues, internal project specialists and oversee outside consultants.
• Maintain and coordinate relevant development activities and timelines.
• Evaluate, analyze, and make recommendations to management on project viability and economics.
• Manage project expenditures and develop, manage, and maintain project budgets.
• Prepare required documentation to submit projects to senior management for approval.
• Report on project development status to management via oral and written reports.
• Manage the handover to the Construction team and support Engineering and Construction teams during the construction process.
• Support the Finance and Legal departments during interaction with third parties.
• Lead and/or assist with the negotiations of commercial agreements with the goal of maximizing value creation.

• Minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience developing utility-scale wind, hydro and/or solar projects.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience navigating local government process and structure.
