Full-Time Manager Engineering II Data Pipelines

What You Will Be Doing:

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of talented engineers to build the future of digital contracting. You will define and achieve team success.

• Manage and grow your engineering team, understanding team dynamics, micro-culture, and roadmap needs.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, providing input on trade-offs, and delivering high-quality, scalable products.
• Develop and deliver an impactful roadmap, partnering with product managers, designers, managing cross-team dependencies, setting a clear vision, and ensuring team alignment.
• Foster a culture of innovation and creativity.
• Fix what's broken, contributing to organizational solutions and process changes.
• Represent Ironclad to prospects and customers, ranging from modern companies to Fortune 500 firms.
• Partner with design and product managers to build world-class development infrastructure and a team to advance product vision.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers on features and systems.
• Work with quality engineers to define, build, and maintain testing strategy.
• Provide thoughtful feedback to team members.
• Help interview and recruit talented engineers.

Key Skills:

• Experience with modern stack (TypeScript, ReactJS, Node.js, Docker containers in Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform).
• 2+ years of technical leadership or management experience.
• 5+ years of software experience in complex systems.
• Passion for software engineering and shipping great products.
• High bar for quality.
• Passion for mentoring, learning, and knowledge sharing.
• Strong cross-team communication and collaboration skills.
