Manager, Program for a 125+ employee (and growing) remote education non-profit providing professional learning to K-12 educators nationally.
Type of Vacancy: Salaried, full-time
Start date: July 2025
Location: Remote with at least monthly travel
Report to: Director, Program or Senior Manager, Program
Supervises: May supervise other Manager(s), Program. Dependent on the project, the Manager, Program may be a Project Leader with project team supervision and leadership development responsibilities
Compensation: $80,000 - $121,007 annually. Anticipated hiring range: $80,000 - $105,529.
Areas of Expertise:
- Client Management: Managing partner scope, coordinating service delivery.
- Teacher Coaching: Improving student outcomes through coaching inquiry.
- Instructional Expertise: Deep knowledge of math HQIM.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Implement excellent programmatic services
- Implement projects to meet goals (e.g., content development, implementation with systems, coaching)
- Act as content expert and support team content expertise
- Hold roles like Coach Developer, Client Partnership Manager, Instructional Designer, Subject Matter Expert
- Implement and maintain project plans
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, time management, and workflow management
- Support development of systems, tools, and processes
- Maintain positive client relationships
- Support contract renewals
- Design high-quality, research-based professional learning content
- Engage in user-centered design processes
- Apply best practices for virtual and in-person adult learning
- Implement and support team members in project plans
- Maintain partner project plans
- Maintain contracts and invoices
- Model people manager competencies
- Provide coaching and support to direct reports
- Monitor workloads and capacity
- Provide feedback, coaching, and recognition
- Conduct annual evaluations
- Complete people management tasks

Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years PK-12 education experience, with 2+ years teaching underserved students
- 2+ years working with external partners
- 2+ years planning and implementing projects
- 2+ years leading or coaching HQIM implementation
- Deep knowledge of College- and Career-Ready standards
- Experience designing impactful professional learning
- Experience facilitating professional learning or coaching
- Experience managing client relationships
- Experience teaching or coaching specified curricula (e.g., Math)
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced degree
- Deep understanding of specified curriculum design
- Experience in consultative organizations
