Full-Time Manager of Cloud Operations

We are looking for a Manager of Cloud Operations to drive the operational transformation of container platforms and cloud connectivity infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Lead an operations team using AWS, EKS, and OKD.
• Build, maintain, and upgrade Kubernetes clusters.
• Address AWS and Kubernetes challenges with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain observability systems.
• Participate in platform engineering initiatives.
• Proactively improve architecture and automation for daily operations, deployments, and monitoring.
• Document procedures and share knowledge with teams.
• Mentor team members on best practices and architecture.
• Provide guidance on cloud-based best practices.
• Participate in on-call schedule (occasional after-hours support).

Qualifications:

• 6+ years professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or System Administration; 2+ years in a managerial role.
• Docker, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD experience.
• Scripting abilities in Bash and Python.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and common tools (dig, nslookup, netstat, netcat).
• Java EE/Jakarta experience (writing/troubleshooting Java applications).
• OpenShift/OKD experience is a plus.
• Istio/Gloo Mesh experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Linux system internals and tools (top, strace, lsof) is beneficial.
