Full-Time Manager of Operational Readiness

About the Role: We are seeking a Manager of Operational Readiness to lead and coordinate the end-to-end technology preparedness for large-scale events across Peacock and partner streaming platforms.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Lead the planning and execution of large-scale live events, coordinating with business, content, and technology teams.
2. Maintain a master calendar of critical events, managing timelines, dependencies, and milestones.
3. Oversee platform scaling and readiness to meet load and concurrency targets.
4. Partner with Change Management to implement change freezes during high-impact events.
5. Collaborate with operations teams to update runbooks, escalations, and Event Bridge plans.
6. Track and validate new features and functionality, ensuring operational best practices and communicating risks.
7. Prepare weekly executive-level reports summarizing event readiness and risk mitigation plans.
8. Provide project oversight and stakeholder engagement, reporting progress, blockers, and delivery metrics.
9. Support process improvements by analyzing workflows, identifying opportunities for automation, simplification, or improved reporting.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in operations, program management, or technical readiness, ideally in video streaming or live broadcast.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale events and drive cross-functional execution.
• Strong understanding of ITSM processes, runbooks/playbooks, observability tools, and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills to articulate complex issues.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent collaboration skills to build trust across functional teams.
• Proficient in JIRA, Slack, PowerPoint, and SharePoint; experience with operational reporting tools preferred.

Desired Characteristics:

• BA/BS in a relevant field
• PMI certification (PMP, PMI-ACP), SAFe/Agile, or other project management certifications

Compensation: $110,000 - $145,000 (bonus and long-term incentive eligible).
