About the Role

As a Manager, Software Development, you lead a team to deliver exceptional value. You align team goals with the department vision, fostering collaboration and timely delivery. You'll oversee design, development, maintenance, operational excellence, and software delivery, nurturing a culture of innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Drive technical standards (performance, scalability, security).
• Guide long-term technical vision, enforce best practices, and adopt emerging technologies (like AI).
• Foster innovation, enhance productivity, and improve customer experience using AI.
• Oversee the end-to-end software lifecycle (design, build, test, deploy, operate).
• Mentor and manage developers.
• Collaborate with Product and Design on roadmaps.
• Foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
• Manage delivery timelines, capacity, and prioritize effectively.
• Make confident decisions and take ownership of results to drive innovation.

Team Focus:

Your team will focus on delivering key features for the Officevibe product, collaborating closely with product and technology teams.

Challenges:

• Modernizing platform architecture for flexibility, speed, and scalability.
• Evolving into an AI-native solution for enhanced automation and decision-making.
• Embedding AI and engineering excellence into workflows.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record in leading successful software development teams.
• Strong skills in setting and meeting team goals.
• Proficiency in setting and tracking team metrics, and taking action based on findings.
• Exceptional mentoring and knowledge-sharing skills.
• Ability to influence a diverse audience.
• Experience managing product technical debt.
• Knowledge and expertise in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous software development experience.
