What a Marketing Manager II Does:
We seek a Marketing Manager to orchestrate marketing project execution within a regulated pharmaceutical environment. This role leads internal and external day-to-day operations and delivery of low-to-medium complexity tactical projects. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Marketing Manager ensures projects are planned, implemented, and delivered on time and within budget, meeting quality and process standards. The ideal candidate blends project management expertise and marketing acumen, driving successful initiatives and fostering client and partner agency relationships. This role co-owns projects with senior Account and Project Management staff, contributes to project plans, and delivers submissions for regulatory review. Proven track record and agency experience are essential; experience in a regulated environment is a plus. Managing multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic, collaborative setting is crucial.
What We Seek:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent plus experience.
- 2-5 years professional experience in Account and/or Project Management.
- Proactive, solution-driven, nimble self-starter with excellent organization skills.
- Strong attention to detail, client service mindset, and comfortable client-agency liaison.
- High performance in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Understanding of foundational project management skills and standards.
- Comfort leading teams through project lifecycles.
- Solid understanding of scope and change management.
- Familiarity with project burn analysis, communication, action and mitigation.
- Experience in building timelines and project estimates.
- Basic understanding of project management information systems (e.g., Workfront, Smartsheet, MS Project).
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to build trusting relationships (internal and external).
- Positive attitude and basic negotiation skills.
- High level of accountability and ownership.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, multitasking, problem-solving, and independent/teamwork ability.
- Periodic travel required.
Compensation:
Anticipated base salary range: $56,000 - $80,000. Compensation based on experience and location.
