Play a key role in optimising marketing processes, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and enhancing team cohesion for the Dan Murphy's brand
As the Marketing Planning & Retail Media Manager, you will drive marketing processes and ways of working, aligning strategies with customer and category insights to drive stakeholder alignment.
You will lead the management and execution of the Customer Trade Plan, to ensure a dynamic and efficient engine that supports our go-to-market strategy across all channels.
Additionally, you will establish and integrate inventory, channel support, and marketing communication frameworks for Retail Media (MixIn) opportunities working back with suppliers and ensuring that all activity is inline with our brand vision.
Accountable for the execution of the Customer Trade Plan by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the Marketing Strategy and achievement of scorecard objectives.
Utilise deep customer, channel, and category insights to shape broader trade activities, fostering a customer-first approach that enhances value perceptions, sales, and growth targets.
Partner with the Merchandise Planning Manager to facilitate cyclical business planning forums (annual, trimesterly, monthly, weekly) across Merchandise, Marketing, eCommerce, and Operations, ensuring seamless alignment and collaboration.
Establish and run the marketing communications frameworks and process to successfully support Retail Media (MixIn) as an integrated channel within our existing CTP rhythms and cadences.
Act as the key Marketing advocate for the Retail Media (MixIn) channel, commercialising inventory assets, identifying opportunities for collaboration within the Customer Trade Plan, management of timelines and leading the development of campaigns.
Take a leadership role in educating the Marketing team on Retail Media integration within the broader Marketing Strategy, building understanding and capability across the team.
Collaborate with the Senior Marketing Manager - Trade & Planning to align brand marketing operating rhythms, develop consistent planning frameworks, and build strong relationships across Marketing, Merchandise, eCommerce, Operations, and Pinnacle teams.
Become a key member of the business-wide planning community, providing expertise in operational planning and driving continuous improvements to enhance cross-functional efficiencies and outcomes.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and frameworks, enhancing ways of working and planning cadences across the team.
Act as a thought leader within the broader Marketing team, encouraging end-to-end collaboration and fostering a customer-first team culture.
Develop and maintain strong relationships, overseeing a quarterly meeting cadence for the Marketing Leadership Team (LT).
Role model the company’s values and ways of working, setting a high standard for team behavior and performance.
