Full-Time Materials Informatics Engineer

As a Materials Informatics Engineer, you'll work directly with customers and our Data Science team to solve challenging problems at the intersection of materials science and machine learning. You'll provide outstanding technical support and materials informatics training to customers.

Responsibilities include assisting Citrine Platform users with materials informatics challenges, developing AI assets, communicating frequently with customers, handling support requests, providing data formatting guidance, cleaning, structuring, and exploring materials informatics data, creating knowledge base content, delivering Citrine Platform training, and creating/maintaining training materials.

Skills and Experience:

• Degree in materials science, chemistry, physics, or related field
• Located in the EU, with Germany preferred
• Enthusiasm for working with customers in the materials industry
• Enthusiasm for working with cross-functional teams
• Proven ability to build excellent customer relationships
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously
• Aptitude for programming in Python
• Exceptional communication skills (English & German)
• Willingness to travel up to 20%

Nice-to-Haves: Experience or coursework in machine learning and/or statistics; Teaching experience.
