Responsibilities
- Develops and provides students with an approved Adtalem Global Education syllabus following the local campus template, including terminal course objectives.
- Organizes, prepares, revises, and updates course materials.
- Uses online technologies and software (Websites, email, online discussions) to prepare and make the course accessible.
- Models effective oral and written communication engaging students, providing clarity and improving student learning.
- Sets clear course expectations (objectives, assignment/examination dates, evaluation weighting).
- Ensures exam content aligns with course objectives.
- Demonstrates consistent, fair exam preparation and grading, providing timely feedback.
- Completes other assigned duties.
Courses of instruction
- MATH105 - Contemporary Mathematics: Covers sets, financial mathematics, probability, statistics, number theory, graphs in algebra, and math applications.
- MATH225 - Statistical Reasoning for the Health Sciences: Focuses on statistical reasoning for healthcare data analysis. Emphasizes descriptive and inferential statistics.
Required
- Master's Degree (18 graduate hours in subject)
- Prior Statistics and Algebra teaching preferred
- Subject matter expertise and excellent communication skills
- Motivational and instructional skills for diverse environments
- Ability to work in a collegial manner and facilitate diverse groups

Chamberlain Visiting Professor Position - Online: Compensation between $715/Earned Credit Hour to $1,950/Earned Credit Hour, depending on candidate's education and experience. Actual pay may vary based on factors such as course type, experience, location, licensure/certifications, market factors, departmental budgets, and responsibility.
