Job Details
MDM Mobile Device Management JAMF administrator manages and secures Apple devices (Macs, iPhones, iPads) within an organization using JAMF Pro software.
Responsibilities:
- Deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting Apple devices (macOS, iOS, iPadOS).
- Implementing and enforcing security policies (device encryption, password policies, app restrictions).
- Creating and managing automation workflows using JAMF Pro.
- Maintaining proficiency in JAMF Pro, API integrations, and scripting (zsh, bash).
- Managing large-scale deployments (85,000+ devices).
- Troubleshooting device management issues.
- Managing data using JSON and .plist files.
- Using JAMF Pro Classic API and JAMF Pro API for data management.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of JAMF Pro, automation functions, API integrations, and scripting (zsh, bash).
- Experience managing large-scale Apple device deployments.
- Proficiency in creating and managing automation workflows.
- Understanding of Apple device security, certificates, encryption, and compliance.
- Intermediate to advanced scripting skills (zsh, bash).
- Experience with JAMF Pro Classic API and JAMF Pro API.
- Data management using JSON and .plist files.
- Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving device issues.
Bonus Skills:
- JAMF 400 Certification
- 5+ years of Apple device management experience
- Proven track record in retail environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
