Job Details

Montu is on a mission to lead clinical understanding and confidence in medicinal cannabis through evidence-based education. As a Medical Associate, you'll play a key role in producing engaging and accurate educational content for healthcare professionals.

Your work will contribute directly to the Saged Educational platform—our flagship hub for upskilling clinicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging, evidence-based educational content (e-learning modules, videos, articles, podcasts, webinars, etc.) for doctors, nurses, and pharmacists.
  • Collaborate with internal experts and external Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to ensure medical accuracy and relevance.
  • Review and update content to reflect current clinical practice and guidelines.
  • Engage with learners across webinars, workshops, online communities, and events.
  • Provide scientific advice and review promotional/educational materials.
  • Contribute to clinical literature reviews, summaries, and internal knowledge sharing.
  • Support research design and local study execution.
  • Build and maintain relationships with KOLs and engage in industry forums and congresses.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Australian Medicinal Cannabis clinical landscape.
  • Summarize key clinical and scientific insights for internal use, including trends in diagnosis, treatment, and therapeutic focus areas.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Advanced tertiary qualification in a scientific discipline (PharmD, MD, PhD preferred).
  • 2-3 years of experience in Medical Affairs or Clinical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of drug development and clinical research.
  • Prior experience developing educational content for healthcare professionals (highly regarded).
  • Proven skills in medical writing.
  • Experience reviewing and approving promotional and educational materials.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Fluency in written and oral English.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality presentations (highly regarded).
  • Strong knowledge of the Australian clinical landscape.
  • Passion for lifelong learning.
  • High level of integrity, scientific accuracy, and compliance orientation.
  • Ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally with impact.
