Full-Time Medical Biller

Key Responsibilities:

• Submit claims and billing to insurance accurately and once a week
• Process any denials and corrections as needed on a weekly basis
• Review weekly Explanation of Payments (EOP) to ensure proper payment and identify discrepancies.
• Log billing information, payments, and adjustments into a detailed and organized spreadsheet for tracking purposes.
• Communicate with internal team members to address any billing-related issues.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with medical billing, especially with Texas Medicaid (TMHP) and Superior HealthPlan, is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using spreadsheets (e.g., Google Sheets) & Google Drive
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with Explanation of Payments (EOP) and common medical billing practices.
