Full-Time Medical Biller

Duties

• Process and submit medical billing claims to insurance companies and government payers.
• Review patient records for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all necessary information is included.
• Follow up on unpaid claims, performing medical collections as necessary.
• Communicate with insurance companies to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to claims.
• Maintain organized medical records, ensuring compliance with regulations and confidentiality standards.
• Stay updated on changes in medical terminology, billing regulations, and coding practices.
• Collaborate with the medical office staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient billing processes.

Requirements

• Proven 3 years experience in medical billing or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Strong understanding of medical collection processes and systems.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers.
