Valley Women's Health is a busy multi-specialty clinical who is seeking a motivated individual to step into a full-time Billing Specialist role. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of previous experience in payment posting and collections, monthly reports, balancing all accounts, handling claim denials, reconciliation of daily receipts and third-party payments, ensures claims and payments are submitted in a timely manner, age reports, and patient account collections.

Valley Women's Health is a busy multi-specialty clinical who is seeking a motivated individual to step into a full-time Billing Specialist role. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of previous experience in payment posting and collections, monthly reports, balancing all accounts, handling claim denials, reconciliation of daily receipts and third-party payments, ensures claims and payments are submitted in a timely manner, age reports, and patient account collections.
Valley Women's Health Responsibilities
- Resolve various medical billing edits within established timelines
- Identify trends and issues with insurance denials and billing edits. Verbally communicate the issues and propose solutions.
- Answer in-bound phone calls, text, and e-mail with patients, insurance companies, and credentialing department regarding claim submission.
- Follow-up with patients, insurance companies, and credentialing regarding claims or billing inquiries
- Responsible for tracking, appealing and resolving denied claims, as well as analyzing reimbursements according to contractual agreements.
- Performs a variety of duties including accounts receivable follow-up, customer service, correspondence response and daily reconciliation of activities.
- Interacts with private and government payers to facilitate the prompt payment of accounts receivable.
- Must have previous medical billing experience
