Job Details
Clean and sanitize patient rooms, waiting areas, and staff offices.
Dust and wipe down surfaces, including countertops, desks, and equipment.
Vacuum carpets and mop hard floor surfaces.
Empty trash bins and replace liners.
Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including toilets, sinks and mirrors.
Restock supplies in bathrooms and other areas as needed.
Follow proper protocols for handling and disposing of medical waste.
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working condition.
Adhere to safety guidelines and infection control procedures.
Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in cleaning, preferably in a medical healthcare setting
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies
- Understanding of infection control and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks
- Flexibility to work evening hours
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Must have a clean criminal background
- Must be willing to complete onboarding assessment quizzes using a computer/laptop
- Must be willing to obtain a yearly Tuberculosis Test (TB) and Flu Vaccine or provide an exemption letter
