As Medical Director, consult with Planning, Account, and Creative teams to develop compelling medical strategy and medical content for digital and print media. Identify new medical advances and opportunities, leveraging disease state knowledge to drive promotional efforts. Analyze clinical data, conduct literature searches, attend medical conferences, and perform competitive analyses.
Engage and inform colleagues, healthcare professionals, and clients, including those in medical, legal, and regulatory groups. Collaborate on developing medical points of view (POVs) and recommendations with clients.
Ensure that medical communications and promotional materials meet and exceed client team objectives.
- Guide the creation of clinically cogent and engaging promotional and KOL materials, ensuring effective use of clinical data to reach strategic brand objectives.
- Assist with medical strategy in pitches and proposals for new business development.
- Consult on the medical content of expert speaker communications, KOL engagements, advisory boards, etc.
- Improve medical literacy across contributing agency teams; provide medical understanding on disease states, clinical trials, treatments, and competition.
- Guide submissions for client medical/regulatory approval processes and incorporate client and regulatory feedback.
