THE POSITION: Medical Communications is part of integrated commercial services. This position builds credibility and strengthens relationships with healthcare providers, patients, and industry clients. It delivers industry-leading services including call center staffing, adverse event/product quality issue identification, and medical writing.
HOME OFFICE BASED: Ideal locations include Poland, Ireland, UK, Germany, Italy, Portugal, or Spain. Legal eligibility to work in the European Union or UK is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Translate English documents into target language (or vice-versa).
- Handle drug information inquiries from physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and consumers.
- Disseminate drug information verbally or in writing.
- Identify adverse events and product complaints, creating initial reports adhering to EVERSANA-Medical Communications and client SOPs.
- Comply with local Regulatory Authority regulations.
- Assess information needs and depth of information required.
- Write adverse event and product complaint narratives.
- Coordinate quality-related complaint responses (involving Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs).
- Research and develop information for written dissemination to healthcare professionals.
- Handle miscellaneous projects (market research, sales training).
- Medical Writing
- On-call responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:
- Maintain/improve customer service associated with Medical Communications Call Center.
- Flexible schedule: Full-time, rolling 5-day workweek, weekend work possible, day and night shifts.
- Contribute to process improvement to impact call center metrics.
- Up to 10% travel.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Education: Pharmacy degree preferred, other life sciences degrees considered.
- Experience/Training: Strong clinical background, excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Language: C1 English, C1 or C2 German (mandatory).
- Strong translation skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Pharm D / M Pharma highly preferred.
- Experience/Training: Call center, medical information, pharmaceutical industry, clinical experience (medical writing).
- Language: Fluent English, German. Other European languages are a plus.
- Technology: Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Windows applications. Knowledge of Medical Information Management Systems, Safety Databases.
