We’ve partnered with CWS Health to find detail-oriented professionals for a fully remote Medical Records Intake Reviewer opportunity. This is a consulting role—up to 40 hours/week—with flexible scheduling and long-term potential.
As an Intake Records Management Coordinator (I-RMC), you'll be reviewing submitted medical records to ensure they meet both administrative and coding criteria. You’ll play a key role in quality control—helping ensure healthcare data is clean, compliant, and complete.
- Review protected health information (PHI) according to CMS rules
- Perform administrative intake procedures on medical records
- Identify and escalate discrepancies
- Collaborate with team leads and follow up on project-specific criteria
- Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Stay up to date on AMA coding guidelines
- High School diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of computer experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and use sound judgment
- Professionalism in handling sensitive medical data
- Prior experience with coding or record review is a plus
