Full-Time Medical Science Liaison (m/d/f)

Santen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to join their team in Germany.

The position is field-based, with a combination of home office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support key medical affairs activities, collaborating with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and internal teams (Sales & Marketing, Clinical Development, etc.).
• Maximize physician awareness of Santen products by providing medical expertise.
• Collect scientific and medical feedback from customers.
• Attend local, national, and international congresses to network with KOLs and stay abreast of medical advancements.
• Present data on existing and new product launches to healthcare professionals (physicians, hospital practitioners, formulary committees, pharmacists).
• Present data to internal Santen colleagues.
• Develop scientific educational materials and customer training programs.
• Support R&D or Medical Affairs studies, if requested.
• Adhere to GDP guidelines.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Life Sciences (MD, pharmacist, biologist).
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison.
• Ability to effectively communicate scientific and medical information.
• Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, including excellent teaching skills.
• Strong business acumen.
• Ability to respond to medical inquiries accurately and comprehensively.
• Excellent leadership and relationship-building skills in a cross-functional environment.
• Team-oriented, supportive style with the ability to influence key audiences internally and externally.
• Ability to work independently and creatively.
• Willingness to travel (80%).
