Medical Science Liaison Nephrology (Switzerland)

The MSL drives strategic country medical activities in Switzerland in alignment with regional initiatives and the Global Medical Plan.

Responsibilities:

• Manage medical scientific stakeholders, creating patient value through engagement, projects, and communications.
• Independently initiate planned medical activities (presentations, clinical data discussions, value proposition concepts, educational programs).
• Identify, develop, and maintain collaborative relationships with KOLs and medical scientific experts.
• Deliver high-quality medical and scientific communication (internal and external).
• Provide field feedback, support local organization development, and contribute to regional plans.
• Identify, develop, and maintain collaborative relationships with KOLs, scientific experts, and other medical scientific stakeholders in the field of C3G (70% field-based, 30% office-based).
• Deliver high-quality medical and scientific communications in line with defined communication plans.
• Support/organization of scientific advisory boards.
• Support local studies if necessary.
• Attend relevant local, regional, and global congresses/symposia.
• Represent scientific interests in internal and external forums.
• Maintain relationships with scientific societies, local health authorities, hospitals, patient associations, and NGOs.
• Provide advice on medical matters and legal implications.
• Maintain/update medical/scientific knowledge of the therapeutic area.
• Maintain "peer-to-peer" scientific relationships with KOLs.

Required Skills:

• University degree in medical/science or relevant field.
• Experience with new products, pre-launch, and launch activities.
• In-depth knowledge of national healthcare systems and practices.
• Ability to create and network with KOLs at the national level.
• Knowledge of national healthcare decision-making, including regulatory, safety, legal, and compliance.
• Experience in communicating and building relations with authorities.
• Fluency in German, English, and preferably French.
• Proficient in modern IT and office software.
