What Does a Medical Strategist/Writer Do?At Eversana, Medical Strategists/Writers work with a multidisciplinary team to create slide decks, white papers, scientific platforms, infographics, and more. They develop content that supports messaging and product positioning for pharmaceutical, biotech & medical device clients.
This role delivers compelling scientific stories to various audiences (HCPs, patients, payers). It's integral to a growing team with strong growth potential.
Responsibilities
- Develop compelling, scientifically accurate written materials tailored to target audiences and strategic objectives.
- Consult with strategic and creative teams to conceptualize ideas for projects and pitches.
- Lead client discussions and provide strategic input.
- Provide onsite support at events (e.g., advisory board meetings, medical congresses).
- Interact with key opinion leaders to develop relationships and gather input.
- Stay updated on therapeutic areas, treatment patterns, new data, and the competitive landscape.
What Are We Looking For?
- Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, or MDA).
- 2-3 years of scientific communication/promo experience in an ad agency setting.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical standards and regulations.
- Experience in neurology, immunology, or dermatology (preferred).
- Strong scientific acumen and ability to craft compelling narratives.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize work within tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel).
