Job Details
Position: Development of value communications and copyediting
Essential Duties:
- Liaise with project stakeholders
- Conduct medical literature searches
- Review, interpret, and synthesize medical literature
- Develop publications (e.g., manuscripts, abstracts, posters)
- Develop reports and slide decks
- Liaise with key opinion leaders
- Review, edit, and format documents
- Perform quality assurance on written materials
- Develop product dossiers, value messages, marketing materials, clinical summaries, and objection handlers
- Provide copyediting and formatting support
- Support slide preparation for meetings/calls
- Attend, participate in, and document project meetings
- Support written client communications
- Demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Perform other duties as assigned
Expectations:
- Travel: Some travel may be required
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- Overtime: May be required to meet project deadlines
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in a medical or mathematics-related field
- Minimum 1 year experience as a medical/scientific writer
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
- MSc or PhD preferred
- Proficiency with EndNote
Physical/Mental Demands:
- Frequent reaching, grasping, standing/sitting
- Walking, talking, hearing
- Occasional lifting/moving up to 25 pounds
- Moderately quiet office environment with frequent interruptions
Salary: $70,686 (base salary, Canada only)
