TalkNow is a 24/7, 365, on-demand telehealth service exclusively serving the higher education student & faculty population. As a part-time TalkNow Provider with TimelyCare, you will act as a primary form of emotional support for students and members (i.e., faculty & staff). We are seeking providers with a Master's degree in professional counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy, who have experience with crisis intervention, de-escalation, risk assessment, and safety planning.
Location: Remote work environment. Remote work criteria includes maintaining approved internet speed, HIPAA-compliant workspace, and successful completion of credentialing, onboarding, and training programs.
Schedule: Wednesday through Saturday, 3pm - 1am (40 hours total)
What You'll Do:
- Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and triage support (phone, video, or chat).
- Act as a primary mental health provider with a person-centered, strengths-based approach.
- Collaborate with members to develop care plans, progress care, and conduct risk assessments.
- Document sessions, assessments, and care plans in the EHR.
- Adhere to clinical documentation quality standards, HIPAA/PHI, and telehealth regulations.
What You Bring:
- Master's degree (M.A./M.S.) in Psychology, Professional Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy is required.
- Strong clinical writing, assessment, and active listening skills.
- Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation.
- Experience providing therapeutic services to young adults, adolescents, at-risk populations, or in community mental health, crisis support, or college counseling environments.
- Licensed or provisionally licensed in North Carolina (preferred).
