Contractor Merchandise Assistant

Merchandise Assistant - Contract Position - Onsite in Framingham, MA

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and ready for a fast-paced retail merchandising role? You'll work closely with Buyers and Merchandise Managers to ensure products reach the right place at the right time. Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing, revising, and tracking domestic and import purchase orders; ensuring accuracy and required signatures.
• Communicating with vendors daily to address PO issues, allocations, and shipping delays.
• Coordinating travel and scheduling vendor/agent visits for Merchants and AVPs.
• Supporting cross-functional teams and other departments.
• Managing pre-production samples and maintaining their organization and displays.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage purchase orders using systems like Buyer Worksheet.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel to track weekly spend and generate reports.
• Multi-tasking ability in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
