Full-Time Mid-level Air Quality Scientist

AECOM is seeking an experienced Air Quality Scientist to join our team in Akron, Ohio. This is a remote role.

Responsibilities:

• Fully qualified scientist utilizing scientific principles, theories, and existing technologies to develop technical solutions.
• Familiarity with a broad field of scientific knowledge and its effects on other disciplines.
• Interpreting and recording data, conducting analyses, and comparing findings to regulations for compliance.
• Independent determination and development of solutions using standard procedures, modifications, or methods.
• Planning to achieve objectives, conducting analysis and investigation from various sources.
• Performing inspections and tests for compliance, developing corrective measures and procedures.
• Formulating hypotheses, performing research, and making recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in science or related field.
• 4 years of relevant experience in air quality compliance (or demonstrated equivalency).
• Valid U.S. driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 years of air quality compliance experience.
• Proven experience in scientific writing and editing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software.

US Citizenship is required due to nature of the work.
