Multimedia Technician - Contract Opportunity - On-site in Massachusetts.
About this Position: We seek a Multimedia Technician to assist faculty, students, and staff with classroom AV equipment. Setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of video projection, audio systems, and digital video capture are key responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support users with multimedia equipment (video projection, audio, digital video).
- Assist with projecting teaching materials (PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Sheets, YouTube).
- Communicate promptly and professionally with all users.
- Follow directives from team leaders and staff.
- Coordinate AV setup for courses and events, ensuring timely recordings.
- Maintain and troubleshoot AV equipment for high-quality recordings.
- Transport, set up, and strike AV equipment in classrooms and labs.
- Provide coverage for colleagues and assist with scheduling.
Job Skills/Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of college/technical school education.
- Working knowledge of audio, video, and multimedia technologies.
- Proficient in computer hardware, software, and external device connections.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic audio and video equipment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Pay Range: $24.48 - $44.80/hour
