Purpose: Ensure the National Leaving Care Benchmarking Forum (NLCBF) stays current with legislative, policy, and best practice developments in leaving care. Share information, develop resources, deliver training and consultancy to members to improve outcomes for young people leaving care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stay current with best practice and trends in the leaving care sector.
- Collaborate with other Practice Leads and the NLCBF Manager to develop policy and practice focus areas for members.
- Organize engaging events for NLCBF members (local authorities) to share best practices, national updates, and network.
- Collaborate with the Co-production and Engagement Lead to ensure care-experienced young people's voices are heard.
- Develop and maintain a network of leaving care experts.
- Engage with local authority members (and non-members) to understand their successes and challenges.
- Manage NLCBF daily operations, working closely with the NLCBF Manager to maximize value for members and resource utilization.
- Provide expert guidance to NLCBF members, Catch22 services, and wider Catch22 staff on practice issues and solutions.
