Full-Time Nearshore DevSecOps Engineer

Devoteam Portugal is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer for an exciting project in the financial sector.

You will play a key role in implementing Policy-as-Code solutions, leveraging strong skills in Python OOP, Terraform, and AWS scripting with Boto3.

1. Design and implement infrastructure automation using Terraform (modular architecture, promotion strategies).
2. Write and maintain Python code focused on OOP, using frameworks and custom packages.
3. Use AWS (scripting via Boto3) to manage and secure cloud resources.
4. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
5. Collaborate with development and security teams to enhance DevSecOps best practices.
6. Ensure compliance and security standards across multi-cloud environments (AWS & Azure).

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering or DevSecOps roles
• Strong experience with Python, including OOP and package development
• Solid knowledge of AWS and scripting with Boto3
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD
• Deep understanding of cloud security principles and Policy-as-Code
• Ability to write clean, scalable, and reusable code for infrastructure

Nice to Have:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Exposure to Azure
