Full-Time Network Operations Project Manager

Brightspeed is seeking a Network Operations Project Manager to join their team!

The position is critical for the annual FCC 911 audit, focusing on ensuring accurate record fields, managing diversity groups, and reflecting circuit statuses during the Next Generation 911 transition.

Duties include:

1. Project Management of NextGen 911 Migrations (Phase 1 & 2)
2. Researching network equipment/databases for data accuracy
3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Translations, Network Planning, etc.) to identify and resolve issues
4. Advanced fault analysis and troubleshooting of call routing, ALI links, and associated call processing
5. Monitoring ALI server health, troubleshooting failures, and updating configurations
6. Activating/deactivating ALI links; updating to new designs
7. Generating and responding to trouble tickets; handling customer escalations
8. Responding to PSAP inquiries/trouble cases
9. Ensuring integrity of the PSAP Profile database, including research, data analysis, data cleanup, and identifying ways to improve database integrity

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
• 1+ year working knowledge with 911 network background
• Hardware/software circuit switch configuration experience in Nortel DMS 100/ECS1000
• Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and decision-making abilities
• Technical communication and root cause analysis skills
• Excellent customer communication skills
• 24/7 coverage, weekends, holidays, on-call rotation willingness
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Understanding of the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) and 911 network
• TIRKS, OTTO-Lite experience is a plus
