Full-Time Neuroscientist II

• Collaborate closely with teams of neuroscientists, data scientists, engineers, and other subject matter experts to develop statistical analysis plans for clinical trials, execute analyses, and write up results and interpretations.
• Co-author scientific reports whose impact pushes the field past contemporary limitations.
• Deliver clear and impactful data visualizations and presentations to varied audiences, both internal and external.
• Write and review reusable, documented, tested code that produces polished, high quality analytical results for our partners and powers our core computational pipelines.
• Leverage Beacon's products and your own subject matter expertise to inform analysis planning and execution.
• Dig into large, messy, unfamiliar datasets, document their idiosyncrasies, and harmonize them with Beacon's datastore.
• Lead and support the scientific and technical aspects of multiple concurrent studies, including both planning and execution.

• Hands-on experience with neural signal data.
• Familiarity with neurophysiology of sleep.
• Familiarity with statistical hypothesis testing and modeling.
• Comfortable designing and overseeing experiments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience writing code meant to be read and used by others.
• Comfortable working in a highly asynchronous hybrid work environment.
