Office Assistant - Contract Opportunity
This is an on-site role in New York, NY.
We’re seeking an Office Assistant to support day-to-day operations at the New York Buying Office.
In this hands-on role, you'll:
- Manage merchandise samples
- Maintain office organization
- Assist buyers and teams with administrative tasks
Job Responsibilities
- Sort, label, ticket, and package merchandise samples for delivery
- Handle incoming and outgoing deliveries (FedEx, DHL, UPS, USPS)
- Organize and maintain buyer sample closets and assist with special projects
- Support sample shipping needs for vendors, style-outs, and strategy meetings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of conference rooms and general office areas
Job Skills/Requirements
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable with physical tasks (lifting boxes, moving chairs/tables)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Professional communication and customer service skills
