We are looking for a Marine Lead/Senior Marine Lead for the Offshore Logistics team in Generation (O&M). Our department is broadly involved in all maritime aspects of operation of our windfarms, and to complement the team we are looking for someone with expertise within Dynamic Positioning and preferable also Service Operation Vessels (SOV) operations.
Your role will be to act as the expert on the vessels DP systems and SOV operations. This means you will be involved in all aspects of this, such as development of new solutions, contracting, and auditing of vessels and suppliers.
As mentioned, you will be part of the Offshore Logistics team, which resides within Offshore Wind Generation. We are a team that today consists of 7 colleagues, working on maritime and aviation topics relevant for our operating windfarms.
Your tasks and responsibilities include:
- Subject matter expert on vessel related matters
- Subject matter expert on DP Operations and technical requirements for DP vessels
- Subject matter expert on Service Operation Vessels (SOV)
- Participation in tendering activities relating to vessels
- Vessel and supplier auditing
- Advise on marine infrastructure and operations
- Ownership and maintenance of technical requirements
- Participate in supplier interactions in close liaison with internal stakeholders
Your profile:
- A bachelor or master’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Marine Engineer, Master Mariner or Naval Architect with professional experience
- 5-10 years relevant experience working in a Marine & Offshore Logistics field, preferably within the offshore wind sector.
- Expert in Dynamic Position Operations and DP Systems including FMEA’s, DP standards and Technical requirements for DP vessels
- Preferably experience with Service Operation Vessels (SOV), specialist on SOV operation and experience with optimization of SOV operations
- Strong understanding of vessel regulatory requirements, design and performance
- Knowledge of maritime regulation, certification, surveys and audits
- Persuasive communication skills, comfortable at presenting, building relationships and influencing others, while working effectively across diverse cultures and geographical locations.
- Hold, or able to complete, GWO mandatory offshore basic health and safety training
- Good computer skills (MS) and previous experience with SAP and electrical knowledge are beneficial
- Fluent in English (writing and speaking)
