Role: Experienced Operations Engineer to join the Data Team, focusing on ensuring the stability and reliability of a hybrid data platform. Manage and operate key data technologies (databases, message brokers), automate deployment and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain, and manage data-related services and technologies within our Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Ensure the availability and reliability of hybrid cloud platform services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (customer success, platform operations, software engineers, DevOps) to optimize service performance and availability.
• Contribute to incident, problem, release, and change management processes.
• Assist in operationalizing CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and GitOps practices.
• Enhance the reliability and stability of data services.
• Help build an operations team of internal and external employees.

Requirements:

• Advanced English; German preferred.
• Strong documentation and communication skills, proactive attitude.
• Collaborative experience in cross-functional teams, using agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, focusing on root cause analysis and long-term solutions.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
